Defensive Driving

Advanced · 6 sessions · For licensed drivers who want to handle anything the road throws at them.

What it entails

See danger early, react calmly, arrive safely

Defensive driving is the art of expecting the unexpected: reading traffic three cars ahead, keeping escape space around you, and staying composed when others make mistakes.

Across six practical sessions your coach puts you through city traffic, highway merges, rain and low-grip surfaces, plus a scored hazard-perception run you can measure yourself against.

Course questions

Do I need a license to join?

Yes — defensive driving is for licensed drivers. If you're still learning, start with the First-Time Driver course and come back to this one after you pass.

Will it lower my insurance?

Many insurers recognise certified defensive-driving training. You'll receive a completion certificate you can share with your provider.

Can I use my own car?

Absolutely — training in your own car is ideal. Our cars are available if you prefer dual controls.
